Sustain Value helped WPP produce their Impact Value Statement for their annual Sustainability Report each year from 2015 to 2022. This involved valuing a range of their main environmental, social and economic impacts in monetary terms using a number of ‘fit for purpose’ impact valuation approaches. Key impacts valued include gross value added, tax payments, wages, supplier spend, pro bono work, social investments, staff training, youth internships/ apprenticeships, carbon emissions (less offsets) and solid waste. In addition, specialist studies were undertaken investigating relevant SROI ratios for their charitable and pro bono spend (including on diversity, inclusion and anti-racism); and the economic benefits of their Covid-19 pro-bono work and media campaigns,
